Logistics strategies are used in all situations of movement of goods, information and resources from the place of origin to the destination, and as such each company can use the strategy that suits it best, depending on what kind of business it is engaged in. All strategies have their disadvantages and advantages and it is necessary to study in detail which will be the most suitable before use, in order to make the business as efficient and cost-effective as possible for the trader and the consumer. The economic system is increasingly influenced by market demands in terms of quality of logistics service and costs and is subject to changes in the direction of implementing new strategies. They appear in response to new market demands, which are becoming more demanding in terms of quality of services and products, organization, distribution, etc., which affects the trust between users and distributors. Thus, in this paper, the concept of logistics strategy is defined and the division of logistics strategies is described. The logistics strategies used by „Zara“ are also listed.
